First of all, every aspect of this Esterbrook Estie Ferris Wheel Press Nebulous Plume Fountain Pen and corresponding ink was a deliberate creative decision between both brands. Importantly, the six-color DiamondCast material is reminiscent of the swirling clouds of gas and dust that make up nebulae. In other words, if you like glittery swirls in your fountain pens, this is the pen for you.
Secondly, the wax casted ring adds a touch of elegance. Similarly, it features the Ferristales insignia and stargazing elements. However the gold-plated clip with star engravings provides a subtle nod to the pen’s name. Notably, the ink is a beautiful interpretation of the pen. Therefore, the custom blended Ferris Wheel Press ink is a deep, rich blue that is perfect for writing letters, journaling, or taking notes.
Above all, this Nebulous Plume fountain pen is equipped with a steel nib. After that, it fills via a standard international size cartridge and converter. Choose from: extra fine, fine, medium, broad, and stub 1.1. Featuring engraving on the nib are the Esterbrook and Ferris Wheel Press logos.
Finally, the packaging for the Nebulous Plume is just as impressive as the pen and ink. The galactic themed box features rocket ships, astronaut animals, and stargazing. This is a limited production (not numbered) and we believe will sell out very quickly, given the attention around this collaboration already. Even though it’s not numbered, there are approximately 1000 pieces made worldwide.
