Visconti pens are known to be unique and stylish. Their colors and designs are trendy and modern, without compromising quality. One of their most common core designs, the Opera, has many wonderful collections within that line. I feel like the Opera Master is a larger pen that rivals the Pelikan M1000 and the Montblanc 149. As for the “standard” Opera, Visconti had many color variations in different patterned resins. They even had the Monza, which is an all-metal version of the Opera. Now, I’m happy to share with you the new Visconti Opera Demo Carousel Pen Collection.
First of all, the Visconti Opera Demo Carousel Pen Collection is comprised of four distinct marbled resin finishes. It’s translucent, so you can still slightly see the inner mechanics of your pen. Choose from: Pink Blush, Green Mint, Red Velvet, and Blue Cotton Candy.
As you can see, these colors similarly have a lot of great depth and character. My favorite, of course, is the Green Mint. However all four colors are so vibrant that you can’t go wrong. The Opera design is famous for its unique shape, as they call it “squaring the circle”. This means the entire profile of these pens are mainly squared, with the edges rounded off. It’s so comfortable to hold in the hand.
Secondly, the Visconti Opera Demo Carousel Pen Collection is available as a fountain pen, rollerball, and ballpoint. As for the fountain pen, the first thing I noticed was the clear piston rod, which is unique to this pen collection. Enjoy Visconti’s in-house 14k gold nib. Choose from: extra fine, fine, medium, broad, and stub nib sizes. This Opera Demo Carousel line also boasts Visconti’s patented double reservoir power-filler. Do you wonder when your ink is running low? Well, the fountain pen also has an ink viewing window above the grip section.
Finally, the fountain pen and rollerball are equipped with Visconti’s hook-safe lock closure. I like that satisfying tactile push-and-twist feel anytime I take off the cap and then replace it later. The rollerball is refillable with Schmidt 888 or 5888 rollerball refills. As for the ballpoint, it’s equipped with a smooth twist-action retraction mechanism. Easily customize your refills with Monteverde Parker Style ballpoint or gel refills.
